Platform Configuration – Every platform has a unique configuration. Configurations are used to describe custom signal paths, algorithm limitations, special mixing modules, or other elements that are unique for each platform.
Config ID – Identifies the connected platform.
Current Instances – The number of stereo or mono instances of the algorithm running on the platform.
Number of Profiles – The number of profiles allocated for the connected platform.
Signal Path Diagram – This diagram illustrates the inputs, outputs, and algorithm blocks implemented in the connected platform.
Platform – Name of the connected platform.
Platform Information – Pulled from the platform application.
Platform Notes – Pulled from the platform application.
Preset selection – Selecting a Preset in this column will push parameter data for all instances included in the preset.
Instance selection – Select which instance you wish to adjust. The controls will be updated in Profile Creator according to your selection.
Profile information – Enter text to describe the algorithm instance.
In the example image, Front L/R and Rear L/R describe the 2 instances.
This information is duplicated for each preset to make instance selection easier.
Notes – Enter text about each profile. This may be used to describe listening modes, changes to the parameters, version numbers, engineer’s name, etc.
Index – The value used by the SDK to load a profile for a specific instance.
Current selection – The red highlighted row indicates the current parameters displayed in the Profile Creator UI. The white outline indicates the currently selected Preset.
Copy Buttons – Click one of these buttons to copy the current Preset or Instance Profile into a new Preset/Instance slot.
Clicking a button in the Preset column copies all Profiles to the new Preset.
Clicking a button in the Instance column copies only the single instance’s Profile.
Auto-mute – Enable or disable automatic mute/unmute when changing presets or turning the DPS effect on/off.
If Automute is off, a pop sound may be heard when switching presets. However, the preset switching process will be faster.
General-Purpose parameters – Open the general purpose “Flags” for specialized platform commands.
The Noise Reduction (NR) parameters for the DPSMic SDK are set using these key/value pairs.
