Select a user preset for the selected output device (19).
Turn the output audio effects on or off. This is a meta control that sets Enable DPS (5) and V3D HRTF enabled at the same time.
Opens the preset manager window. This allows the duplication, renaming, and import/export of new BACF presets. New presets will appear in the Preset Selection dropdown menu (1).
Assigns a mode tag to the current preset. This does not have an effect on audio processing.
Enable DPS output processing. The control affects all audio features on this tab.
Master output volume control.
Load a custom BGPS profile set. Each BGPS contains 20 profiles that are selected by the index dropdown menu.
In most cases, this feature is used by Bongiovi engineers to create custom tunings for specific products.
By default, a universal BGPS is loaded that provides excellent effects for most headphones. These defaults have been calibrated for each listening mode (music, gaming, movies, communication)
Enable a reverb effect on the output. The dropdown menu provides several presets for output effects. The slider sets the amount of the effect.
Presets 1, 3, 6, and 11 are best for this feature.

The custom graphic EQ is only available to the user if “Headset Custom EQ” is checked.
This can be used to prevent the user from adjusting the EQ if it has been custom-tuned in a new BGPS profile.
Click to open the bass management window. This special feature is provided to mix the Low-Frequency Effect channel into multiple outputs.
This feature is disabled for stereo audio devices.
Low band EQ. This can be used to provide special effect features such as “footstep enhancement”.
High band EQ. This can be used to provide special effect features such as “voice enhancement”.
Enable the Virtual Subwoofer bass enhancement feature.
Sensitivity controls the amount of dynamic range control (compression) applied to the signal.
Increasing Sensitivity has the effect of raising the volume of quiet sounds while keeping loud sounds the same volume.
Bass tone control for the overall output.
Treble tone controls for the overall output.
Dynamic range control meters.
These represent the amount of gain reduction applied to the signal across several DPS algorithm components.
It may be used as a visualization of the audio effect for a fancy UI.
Select an audio device to control. The UI will only allow control over devices that have the APO installed.
Install the APO on an approved Bluetooth device.
Version numbers are displayed for the APO, SDK, and Config UI.
